I caught up with the races after waking up early, but not early enough (It's Australia).
When I saw Aldeguer do that, I was thinking that it was a bit of a Bastianini move. However, there's been no talk that I've seen (or that I think) that it deserved a penalty. A very tough move indeed.
For Moto3, Alonso kept his cool in the main part of the race with his hard tyre, and then just blasted away from the field at the end. Surely he's going to beat Rossi's record now. There were seasons in the past when it was frustrating that Moto3 champions would be the riders who weren't punted out so much. For second place in the championship, Veijer and Ortola's crash was a major gift for Holgado. Holgado fully deserves his 2nd place, but that's a useful margin in the championship that he was given on a plate.
In Moto2, I'm not sure why the MT Helmets MSI team is off the pace. I think Ogura's 4th was about the best he could expect. And, Ogura's best ever result at the track. Not a podium, but this is sewing up the championship in action.
In MotoGP, I accidentally spoiled the race by seeing the results on MotoGP.com before watching the race. I have to be more careful. When I saw the start, already knowing that Marquez would win, I was wondering how he would come back from that. But, after the first lap where most of the damage had been repaired, it sort of became obvious. Following up @mikesbytes comments, it doesn't look like MM93 had restricted revs there. Martin is looking more and more like the champion, and despite the discussion after Martin signed for Aprillia, he does not look to have any disadvantage to Bagnaia in terms of equipment. Sad that Acosta was unfit for the race. I didn't read the news first, and was looking down the order to see where he was ... and not there. (I guessed what had happened.)
Another data point that Marquez will smoke Bagnaia next year. But, we'll see.
