Supersport class featured better racing. Mathew Scholtz had a subpar qualifying session and continued his streak of come-from-behind races. He won both Supersport races, finishing both times in front of PJ Jacobsen, who has also stepped back into Supersport to head the Rahal Ducati lineup.
Cam Peterson won Superbike Race 1, which is surely the first time that both US premier class races were won by South Africans.
