The team is not only testing the amount of world superbike systems that will be required to front-run in MotoAmerica, but they are also looking for ways to soften the Panigale's chassis and get flex in the correct spots. The Pirellis are said to have much softer carcasses than the MotoAmerica Dunlop tires. Since the Panigale was designed and developed with the Pirelli WSBK tires in mind, the Warhorse team is finding it quite difficult to re-develop the bike around Dunlop tires. This is particularly concerning in MotoAmerica because the tracks are often quite bumpy, New Jersey Motorsport Park is no exception.
