So far, not a boring season. Predictions anyone?
Mir gor the win. Guy looks awesome on that GSX-RR.

Who is getting the factory ride at Ducati. Bagnaia is lost and Zarco is in 1:39. It was supposed to be decided. Now it looks like they need a combined rider, say Barko or Zagnaia. One for one type of tracks, other for rest.

Think Bagnaia had some kind of technical problem. There was lots of head shaking going on in his pit.

I’d love to see Mir win this one. Particularly as he’s in my fantasy team and I’ve put him on double points this week!

Petrucci had a wobble and forced Zarco on brakes. I think Zarco should be punished for braking too hard on cold tires and taking out Dovi. Right?

Unexpectedly great season. Great race. Wonderful to see Suzuki, with their long history in racing, to be up there at the pointy end. Great to see Rins and Mir realizing the potential that a lot of people with foresight - predicted, would do great stuff. Pissed about Dovi being taken out. Really sucked. Correct me if I'm wrong, but seems like there's been very little in the way of riders breaking previous lap records this season; not that I care that much. I'd hazard to say that this is because Michelin, tho they've come a long way since taking the mantle from Bridgestone, have not been able to come up with the kinds of innovations that Bridgestone seemed to do on a regular basis. Maybe just as well, in that a slower rate of change in tires has allowed KTM and Suzuki to continually refine chassis and suspension in small increments, rather than having to make yearly, major redesigns of chassis and suspension to keep up with new tire technology.

Yeah, deep inside I was hoping Dovi can get his act together and finish his Ducati career with title. No realistic chance left now, this is what you get if you start from 17th in tight group where everyone is eager to get advantage. Looks like it is Quartararo's to lose now. Also I'm disappointed in Vinales. He can be fast, but somehow he manages to get things wrong too often. Or maybe Mir can pull a Hayden and win it with consistency?

Another strong finish from Mir. He lost ground to Fabio but I still like him for the title. He’s been on the podium in the last 4 out of 5, every finish he has had is in the top 5 and if not for being taken out by Lekuono would probably be leading the championship.

I think Dovi is done now, while it’s not his fault, the blame is solely on him that one DNF probably means his title hopes are over.

Edit forgot to add: if not for the restart in Austria he would probably have a handy lead.

Phht... gave up on Vinales a while back. There was a time when everyone was blaming his results on Rossi's wheeling and dealing w tires and development directions, but it's clear now, he just doesn't know how to get off the line. Nice guy. Talented. But far too inconsistent. Call me a dreamer, but I haven't given up on Dovi just yet. Every season since the beginning of the sport has had it's share of unexpected turns. 2020; much more so. Rember 2006 when Dani took out Hayden and everyone was so sure his "fluke" season was done, and then, bam!, Rossi throws it away? But several of Dovi's favorite tracks are not on the calendar this year, so realistically, odds are not good. Fabs has made a confidence come-back, but no-one can predict the reliability of the Yamahas. This season is a gambler's nightmare. Would love to see a Suzuki upset. That would be the ....!

This season is far from over and after Le Mans, comes Aragon x2 and Valencia x2, which means they can work on the .... that didnt worked last time. You mentioned 2006, dont forgtet how 2013 and 2015 turned around. This is far from over. Fabio had 5 ....-races in a row. I hope somehow Rossi can bounce back with an upset. Or Dovi gets his .... together.

I am sure I am not alone in liking Mir for the title now. Sure he can be taken out through no fault of his own as happened to Dovi in this race because he is down the field on the starting grid, but otherwise he is the one who has been consistent of late, more so than FQ, is a fantastic passer, more so than FQ although the latter was better in this race. And if it is all about the new Michelins the Suzukis are the bikes with tyres that still work at the end of races. I don’t see him having down the field finishes as FQ has had in several of the recent races unless he has a mishap.

It does change things, getting normal this season. Fabio looking in control when he has the bike working. I agree though that Mir Is coming on well with consistency. Will be a cool last stretch for fans! Sure looked like vr’s bike just went away with no warning in a fast corner. Maybe time to hang it up. Cool to see Rins on the podium. Tires and timing....
