Dovi only seems to bring it when it’s too late or doesn’t count. Harsh but seems to be mostly true.
Vinales did a great job, he had the pace and knew it, made it stick in the end.
Fabio was awesome, can’t wait until the arm pump aftermath recedes.
Too bad for Rins but he’ll learn from it.
That looked like a really high speed off for Rossi and Nakagami, hope he’s ok.
The Rossi crash where he took out Nakagami - https://twitter.com/M_Masselink/status/1145373176551153665
And from Rossi's on board - https://gfycat.com/impassionedanguishedenglishsetter
And a pic still from the videos
And before anyway asks, Rossi apparently was very quick to accept blame and apologised
Another curious observation. Yes, I know, different times, different circumstances, but a fact is a fact: Preziosi, with all his budget limitations, won a WC with only 4 years of work (almost with 3), D'alligna hasn't won any with 6 years, and most probably by 7 years of work.
Seems Doubtouso is not the only one with severe bad luck in the red team.
Preziosi had Stoner and sorry if that made a bit of difference
It seemed a strange tyre choice with both the Suzukis on the hard front compared to the rest of the field, not sure if that contributed or not. Sucks for Rins though, he would have been scrapping with the top 3 I felt.
Rins would have been up there with vin and marc and rossi with the 2 ducs and the other petronas yama, if none of them would have crashed. Would have been interesting with lorenzo too. Anyway, marc 2019 champ after Barcelona. So this season is over. He will win at sachsenring and have a somekind of 50 point lead after the break.
Lorenzo hit the deck hard.
This guy is never ever going to catch another break or what?
At work so missing out on the practices dammit
Anything can happening in racing I guess (injuries etc) but if Assen shows Marc on a track that doesn't suit his bike (2nd)... not much left to say.
The guy is a freak, on top of that he never gets injured despite his countless practice session crashes. Other than injury I don't see how the others will claw back the points deficit.

Like I said, "different times, different circumstances".
Preziosi found Stoner, bet on him, when no one wanted him. Whose merit is it??
Anything can happen yes. Rain on race day, wet track then drying up. Starting to rain during the race. Him crashing. .... knows what. It aint over, but its pretty damn hard for the rest to catch up the points. Still lorenzos fault.
Bottom line is that no-one was going to beat MM this year absent major personal misadventure to MM, who has already dropped points from minor misadventure.
If the title being open because MM might crash and have a season affecting injury floats your boat good for you, my preference is to watch MM who has never been the guy I primarily support deservedly win another title by being the best out there if he is so.
