Does anybody care?

A few thoughts, first off, congrats to the Belgiums.  I was impressed at the world feel of the entire event, the Germans should be commended.  The track was very interesting with excellent fan access and viewing as it appeared from TV.  The Monster sponsorship was everywhere and their insistence on having the hottest ....... as part of their brand was fantastic.  Everything was great...except Tomac getting greedy and ....... up last second to kill US hopes at retaking the trophy.  Barcia getting tangled in turn one was more bad luck, but still a major screw up.  Tomac disregarded the "team" aspect of the points and cost us the title.  Dungey did ok, nothing great.  Not being able to pass most of these Euro squids wasn't impressive.  The American team lost this fair and square because they didn't execute to their abilities and Tomac's hopes for individual glory.  Good job by Roczen, to win in front of his home crowd must have felt awesome.

Yea, I watched meant to start a thread, so thank you Jums.

I will agree with the riders assesment that the track was extremely gnarly, but it's the same for everyone.

We didn't send our best team but the one that represented Team USA could have taken gold, just came up a little short.  Still a great effort in my opinion with how fast the Euro's are getting around the track.

Congrats to Belgium, they were the best this year and deserve the accolades.

BTW, Cairoli is bad ..., too bad he hasn't raced over in the States more, I think he could do well in the AMA.

Roczen performed as I expected racing in front of his home country, so congrats to his individual performance.

Another rider worthy of individual merrit is Dean Ferris representing Australia, good ride from him.

Cairoli.....he ain't bad. Didn't think anyone would be interested in this.

Two mates of mine went and said it was awesome. Great track, facilities and great people. German's do this sort of thing well.

Wouldn't mind going Des Nations Glen Helen in 2015

Glen Helen is awesome, I have actually raced there in an amateur mx event.  If its the same track as they are proposing for the Des Nations, some kids better hold on to their ......

Whoops, forgot this year's event. Not surpised Cairoli won this again, the man to beat when this event is held in Europe. Roczen seems like he's been on 250's forever. Maybe the Americans could have taken it out if Villopoto was there.
