The reason why stoner fell last season from the lead wasnt bad luck...it was bc rossi got in his head. Remind any1 of 2001 with biaggi? THis is just gonna happen again and again..........ROSSI 2009 !!!!!

OH, n i'd def like to see capirossi get a few spots on the podium at a minimum...

There is little doubt it will be Rossi vs Stoner again.

On Stoner, however, hangs a big interrogation mark. He might do all poles in 2009, but fade away in races because of his wrist. I certainly hope that will NOT be the case!
If he's 100% he has the same chances as Rossi IMO. 50-50

Then... I would expect both Lorenzo and Dovi do better than Pedrosa (but here I confess I'm biased against Pedrobot). Hayden... If Stoner's wrist turns out to be still a problem, we could see Hayden's role at Ducati suddenly become more important. He's never been the main rider with Honda, not even after he won the title. That could give him the extra motivation he needs to return to 2006 levels and maybe even better.

Then... When I saw Capirossi offered at 140:1 as 2009 champ, I couldn't resist and I bet.
So... Go Suzuki!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the new bike is really what we have seen at Sepang, Capirex could have something very serious to say in his last MotoGP season.

I think Stoner's wrist could prove to be problematic and I think it's only a matter of time before Jorge gets to grips with the Bridgestones. Outside of Rossi and Stoner, there was no one faster than Lorenzo. His inconsistency was his weakness in 2008 but with a year under his belt, I think he could be prepped for a serious title run. I'm hoping so. I actually forgot he's been struggling with the Michelins when I originally posted my estimates but I stand by it. I'm a big Jorge fan and I think he's got the talent to give Rossi and Stoner a run for their money.

The next test will be HUGE for Suzuki. If they can repeat both bikes in the top 6 and one in the top 3 that is a great start. I think Capper can race at the front I just hope the bike can do it.

+1 to that. Let's have a few close races, huh? My nails are getting too long anyways.

I predict the future 2009 Champ will ride across the Finish line doing a wheelie on Bridgestones.

Why not... It could be a Suzuki revival year. In Superbike too they are doing very well!

If Stoner's wrist is fine, then him for the title.

2. Rossi

3. Will be between: Lorenzo , Dovi, & Peders. (Though of these I hope its Horge)

The championship will come down to who has the least crashes/mechanicals, and such. But then again, that is usually the case over a season.

Hayden will make the top 8. and that is saying alot. I think Kalio will be near Hayden all year.

The rest, well it hurts my brain to predict. But I saw some good list on here, and it can be anybody's bet.

I think the notable will be (in alphabet order): Capirossi, & Edwards, maybe Elias.
