Not really retired, but for some reason Pramac decided that Alex Barros may be a slightly better development/results rider than Cardoso...... funny that.

1.hayden 2.melandri 3.pedrosa 4.capirossi 5.rossi...... cause the yammi fails him more than twice.

4. Capirossi

5. KRJ

Surprise winner: Crashy..

& I'm going purely by the way I've read testing so far:

1. Capirossi
2. Rossi
3. Pedrosa
4. Melandri
5. Hayden

Surprise win - I'd like to say Hayden but I think he will ace Laguna again. So I bloody hope it's Edwards

I would be surprised if Edwards won one, he deserves it, and i think its about time. I expect him to back rossi up and be championship top 6 next year with at least 1 race win.

...seriously, I'd like Edwards, been long time due...

1. Dani Pedrosa (supposedly at home on a RC212V. I thought most of the season last year he was the better RC211V pilot)

2. Nicky Hayden (Consistency and patience will again lead him to the top 3)

3. Marco Melandri (I can't wait to see this guy race against Nicky and Dani next season it could really go to either of these 3.)

4. Valentino Rossi (I think this will be the turning season in Vale's domination, winning the championship so long takes the hunger for it out of you. I think he won't run as hard as we've seen him in the past.)

5. Loris Capirossi (The man could race as we all know, hopefully he'll put a string of wins together and get higher on the list.)

6. Kenny Roberts Jr. (He won a championship so we know he could race, and now that he's got a bike powered by Honda, I think we'll see him on the podium frequently next season.)

I'd like...

Loris Capirossi

Dani Pedrosa

4 Valentino Rossi
5 Nicky Hayden

Surprise winner: Chris Vermeulen

If there is no wet races throught the year i would put dani first, but as we have seen he aint to good in the rain. Rossi's gonna come out fighting and i believe its going to be a masterclass between him and cap. def the two best riders on the planet today if not ever. its going to be good

if Rossi & Hayden were to reply to this thread......

Acoording to MCN........Nicky Hayden has joined Valentino Rossi in backing factory Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa to pose a massive threat in 2007.
The American’s will be bidding to make a successful defence on his MotoGP world championship crown but fears his team-mate will pose an even bigger threat than in 2006.
Hayden said: “He was fast out of the gate. He’s going to be strong because he was pretty quick on the 990.
Last week Italian Rossi tipped Pedrosa to mount a serious title tilt next season after he was edged out by Pedrosa in the final winter test of the year in Jerez.
Those sentiments have now been echoed by Hayden, who believes the switch to smaller capacity 800cc machines for 2007 will see Pedrosa provide formidable opposition.
Hayden added: “I’m sure his size will help him and Dani’s going go get along with it better because it’s more like a 250s, and I know I’m probably going to need to drop a few more kilos.
“The bike is quite small and just to suit it probably wouldn’t hurt but I’m sure he’s going to be tough to beat.”
