I think the reason that Laguna is MotoGP only is organizers think American fans would rather watch AMA SBK as a support class instead of 125s and 250s. I for one would rather see the 125s and 250s. The other thing I've heard is that it would be very expensive for the smaller teams in the support classes to come to the US, I'm not sure what would be more expensive to come here compared to Sepang or Philip Island though.

i'm with ya Ooost. i've seen the 125s & the 250s at assen. they definately should come over here. i doubt it's any more expensive to come here as opossed to japan or oz or sepang.

i have heard it is because there is no room for the other two class to be there it is only a very small paddock so tht is y they dnt race there unfortunely !

rossi biggest biggest biggest biggest fan xxxxxxx

Really do not understand why they have chucked The Shanghai race in between the French & Turkey GP's when it would be better suited nearer the end of the season when the Aussie, Japanese and Malaysian are scheduled..

Unless of course they expect a downpour again!!!

September, 17th - Australia, Phillip Island

Where did you get this info from??, When I talked to the Phillip Island race people, they haven't confirmed any dates yet....

Im looking to go to Oz in 2006 for the GP, but I was seriously hoping it would be Mid October or later...

Exactly it cant be as expensive as going to Japan or Malaysia.

I think the Americans need to see the 125s and 250s to get a real feel for motogp.

Ooost, is there national 2stroke racing over there?...

yes there is 2stroke racing over here. the usgpru ( united states grand prix racers union) race 125s & i think they race 250s. but not sure on the 250s.

I thought it was just a 125 series. I've never seen any of it, not very popular. Most everyone over here races four strokes so there isn't much interest in the two strokes. I still wish they would come though.
