this is McGuiness' record breaking 130mph+ TT winning bike, taken only a few weeks after at Goodwood FoS, the screen was still plastered with bugs cus they didn't clean it.

insane speed. can't see that record being broken any time soon....unless of course brookes keeps it rubber side down and the 2014/15 tt weeks are dry and sunny.

wondering when mcguiness calls it a day after so many races unhurt. seems like hes doing a gobert and tries to be the fattest race winner ever lately

Brookes..... I think you meant Donald?

Cam, Mcpint and Micheal Dunlop were at Donington getting some practise and fine tuning in.

Pic's on bikes but didn't go searching to meet em ;)

as far as talent is concerned in my mind :

circuit riders > road racers

top bsb racers > tt guys

brookes> donald

qed ;)

no really, say what you want about brookes but he is definately a really talented rider and i'm very happy that a somewhat internationally known top championship front runner (bsb is for sure the most competitive national sbk series)  takes on the challange.

will def. take him a couple of years but given his talent and ,in lack of a better word, balls i expect him to do well

Sorry, I don't concur.  McPint usually has a few races in BSB but he usually runs Supersport or stock and his results are not great

The only track riders that have had decent road racing results, in this modern era, is slim.  Hutchy, Rutter, Easton, Wee Wizard :sorcerer: , is all I can think of now, but then I'm sleep deprived and had a few <strike>shandies</strike> Stellas.  I watched Daytona 200 so had an earlier start

I'd give Brookes a run at the NW200.  IoM TT can he handle that before jumping off his bike and causing carnage?

I am so getting McPints moniker on the photo.  McPint and Ken Block at the Ace Cafe on Friday.

Cliche, I had thought about taking you to the Ace if there isn't anything on in town GP week.  You would be at home there, I've chatted with several Germans outside

thanks man, the problem is that a wedding might stand in the way of silvers so i'll most likely have to leave thursday before the race :(

thats why i decided to definately go to donington if theres only a 50/50 chance to make it to the gp.

the week before the race i'll be in london, contact me if you're up for a brew

lol, yes i meant if for example theres anything cool bike related to do in the london area that week let me know

on Wednesday's we have a group that meet at the Bat Cave and then we have a little ride around the borough of Westminster.  They are a unique borough and they charge motorcycles to park, we tried to disrupt this by taking them to the European Courts of (in)Justice.  Not that they have done anything to the few motorcycle bays that they provide.

<span style="font-family:'comic sans ms', cursive;130mph is a blazing lap. I often wonder tho what David Jefferies would have been able to do post 2003. Sadly we never got to find out :(

<span style="font-family:'comic sans ms', cursive;John is amazing tho, id love to have seen that fight over 37miles on the big supers
