A few questions regrding Jonathan Rea... and a few others. :)

Hi everyone.

I love my MotoGP and recently started to get into WorldSBK too. I just want to know if Jonathan Rea is actually as good as what it looks like or is his competition just not as talented as it would be if he raced in MotoGP?

Or is it that the Kawasaki is just way better and Sykes is a bit rubbish? If so then how would Chaz do if on the same bike?

How would Rea compare to the likes of Marquez, Stoner and Rossi's of the world?

I'm just interested to know what y'all think.

Thanks.

He toiled away for several years on an increasingly shit bike, crashed a bit and missed races due to injury. Gets himself a decent bike and boom 2 titles and on the verge of his 3rd. Prior to WSBK he was runner up in BSB as a 20 year old, runner up in WSS the following year, has won the Suzuka 8 hour race and scored two top 10 finishes on Stoners bike in MotoGP.

If he's guilty of anything it's wasting several years riding for Honda but yes I think he's a quality rider, I rate him higher than Crutchlow anyway and he's not had a terrible GP has he? Not on the same level as the top GP guys IMO but since he's never raced there full time we'll never know.

Hi AntG.

Thanks for all that info. He is obviously pretty darn good then!

I'd love to see him in MotoGP with a factory Yamaha or Ducatti team.

Hi, yes he's a bloody good rider but I just don't think he'll get a top GP ride now at the age of 30.

Rea finished runner up in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ahead of the likes of Lewis Hamilton and World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua.

Great recognition for bikes.

Annoyed me has did fogarty with no high ambition to race in moto gp but take the easy life of wsbk when they could both have been very good in moto gp.

I don't quite understand how you can compare Fogarty to Rea. Foggy was an arsehole, kept his gob shut when he was winning, but a nasty piece of work when he wasn't.

I Ride: R6
If I were Suzuki, I'd throw everything I had at Rea to develop the bike.
