Anyone who's interested in watching a classic Daytona 200 in preparation for this year's race:

This was the year Foggy said he hated the Americans and he wanted to beat them on their home track. The race is broken down into over 20 parts. Click the vid and go to the user account to find all of the vids.

Starting Grid:

1. Russel

2. Corser

3. Foggy

4. Edwards

5. Pascal Picotte

6. Jamie James (AMA SBK champ)

7. DuHamel

8. Freddie Spencer

9. Anthony Gobert

10. Tom Kipp

Merkel, Polen, Nagai (RIP), Chandler (AMA Grand Slam, 3x AMA champ), and Hodgson. Worth a watch, imo.

Ah Foggy.

Great Vid though. It shows how American motorcycle racing has fallen, sadly.

Foggy is on record denying that he ever said he hated America, and Americans. He did say he hated Daytona, it scared him. He said it was silly to race motorcycles on a track where you come out of a turn and are accelerating up hill towards a concrete barrier. He was used to real race tracks, not these fucking rovals that we are so well known for. Russell had zero fear of the concrete barriers and made up a lot of time in those sections. He also made up huge time entering pit road. I never will forget the sight of him coming down pit road balls out, much faster than anyone else.

Foggy's remarks about Daytona always cracked me up b/c he used to race the TT and Macau. He won at both of those places as well so he wasn't exactly touring.

That was great.

Thanks Lex.

How about Sheheen. Adding idiotic commentary for 15 plus years.

Shitheen to Rob Muzzy. Rob what kind of problems would it cause if Russel's right footpeg is broken off?
