I've just got back from a day full of superbikes!I've had absolutly the best time at a track ever, almost even better then the GP.

got up this morning and left with the group at 8 o'clock to go to assen. we drove about 1,5 hours, and then we say just a horrible crash of a man sliding down of his gsxr, realy scary. when we got at the track, we sat at (almost) the best part of the circuit at the stekkenwal in the new corner called ruskenhoek. it was just a spectaculair place, you could see all the riders bilding up speed and then almost immediately grap the brakes. we could also see a part of the veenslang and the bult, ramshoek(ramscorner, don't know how to call it) winterdijk and a part of geerttimmercorner. we saw a coulpe of wheelies, stoppies, burnouts, highsiders and big crashes in front of us. luckely no one realy got hurt, although the superstock 600 was rescheduled after the ec 600 because of a realy big accident.

one of the best race was the superstock 1000, with a very good turkish man up front. he rides for yamaha and he just totaly controlled the race. unfortunatly, he didn't win, he ended up 3th the wsb was just amazing, we saw a great battle between haga, toseland and vermeulen and ofcourse, our own pride jurgen vd goorbergh drove to in his orange suit!

I also met a couple of (no ofense to the english people) CRAZY english men they were so trying to be funny all the time (and drinking beer, ofcourse!), that they haven't even said their names!!I hope all the english people (espacially the men) are like that.... (only they should tell their names)

What do you guys think off all the people who drive on the highway without their protecting clothes??I saw a very big dude ridding his bike in only a short jeans and a t-shirt that the wind just pulled out of his jeans, letting all of us see his back/belly and how big the dude was

always when I return from a raceday, or weekend, I think about my german teacher. at school we once had a conversation about criminel organisations. the funny thing is, that my german teacher turned to me (he knows that I'm a big motorsportfan) and asked me how it all goes in the 'motorworld'(<-his word, not mine). he thinks that all the motorriders are part of a group called the hells angels (it's a group that doesn't seem to do things legally, what I've heard) and that I know everything about it, because me and my dad visit some of the GP's. he also thinks that in assen, everybody is wearing a gun or something like that during the gp's (he's just stupid to think like that, I've told him that already! )my teacher couldn't be more wrong!all the people that I've met that are motorriders are just all realy nice and I feel completly at ease with all these guys around.

ofcourse I saw the most beautiful rsv milles a round the track and so many other bikes, SO GREAT. The weather was also very good,I've turned completly red because of the sun, I have what they say in holland a 'gloeikop'

We tryed to get leave the track at 18.00u, but the highway was filled with all the bikes and cars. so we had to drive in a big file (or queue, tailback?? don't know what it is in english...)we were home at 20.30, so it was a long trip back for us!

this was a part of my sonday, how was yours??

jep, for sure I can say that i know who nitro nori is!love his riding style, you'll have to pass that dude like, 4 times, before he may think about settling for 2nd and even THEN he drives like the devil is behind him!loved it I didn't got myself a souvenir of the nordpart didn't even know that I could get one !I did said my farewells with my dad to that part of the circuit, considering this was realy the last time we could see 'it' in action although, I'm looking forward to the next time in assen, to see the changes! then I can realy say what I think about it...

3am... that's realy early, isn't it ?? how late is it over there? I'm going to bed right now, so goodnight ...
