Debon is a solid rider, but i question if he is good enough to challenge for the title. He certainly couldn't hang with the top 3 this season, but assuming they all go up to motogp the level of riding in 250 will decrease slightly to something he can run with and maybe win at. The problem ultimately lies with the fact that Baustista (and maybe Kallio) will be too strong.

The only thing threatening to kill the 250's in the short term is Hondas lack of input, but i think KTM make up for it

True, KTM are awesome in the lower classes, I just don't see where the quality riders will come from.

Randy Krummenacher is mighty impressive though.
