My dad uses a Nolan helmet like in the picture.
My GT Air has a built in deployable dark shield. I don't really care for it during bright days. The tinted shields are not available in the US (I was told they're not legal) so I ordered one from the UK.

The drop down shield is good for rides that leave in the afternoon to return after dark. If thats the plan I'll put the clear shield on and use the 'built in' but generally, I think they're sub-optimal.

I Ride: A motorcycle, obviously.
Wearing sunglasses inside the helmet can be a pain in the neck if you have a pair that doesn't fit tight on your head. They shake around a lot, and you can't exactly push them back up onto the bridge of your nose at any moment. In the photo I put earlier I'm wearing a pair of Ray Ban Aviator glasses which fit my face really snug, and they have very thin "ear bars" or whatever you call them, so I have no problems wearing them under the helmet. They always stay in place during the ride. So I don't really mind doing it that way.

I actually think a lot of graphics on helmets are fucking dumb, my AGV is just a flat black because I hated all the graphic helmets.

Although there is one in particular I would buy because...

Full face and half. I have more helmets, but I don't like the others. I use the full face most of the time.

And yes, the full face screams 'MURICA.

Will be buying another half helmet once the weather warms up.

What's the problem with HJC?
That's not a defensive question. I've never worn an HJC helmet and don't know why people might dislike them.

Lorenzo almost lost his championship due to his HJC helmet malfunctions.

HJC are terrible helmets.

I tried a number of them, they were all uncomfortable, and felt cheaply made.

The guys in the shop kept swearing by them, but I wasn't impressed one bit. They had some decent designs, but the helmet looking good is a secondary aspect.

Not a fan of either HJC or Bell.

Shoei and Schuberth make amazing helmets. Arai is okay, wasn't as taken with their stuff because I didn't think the price was justified.
