Hmmm....pretty straight forward.

I'm not surprised he decided against Gresini. A factory Kwak and a Gresini Honda seem to be equally capable. I'm sure Kawasaki pay better.

Well well well. Spies going to sbk is something I just don't think will happen but ya never know. I am glad to see Melandri happy but the Kawasaki is a huge piece of shit so he should have gone back to Honda.

Interesting, Melandri on a Kawi, your right, didn't see that coming. I hope the best for him, but IMO I'm not sure he will be able to rebuild his MotoGP career there, I hope I'm wrong though because I really do like the guy and he definitley has skills.

Well there you have it. Melandri is on the Kwak next year. Can't say it's a big surprise though...we all knew he'd be leaving Ducati and a lot of people guessed that he'd be stepping down to Kawasaki.

The Spies thing sounds like it's still really up in the air though. Honestly I'd much rather see him on a Gresini Honda than a Suzuki. I think he'd have a much better chance. Xerox Ducati though? Thats a bit of a stretch. It would be way cool if it happened though!!

Well I think this is a plus for Melandri. And as far as Gresini, I don't really think he had a chance there.

Holy shit! I just had a thought, might Gresini Honda be looking at Hayden? Oh NOOOOOOOO!

Hayden will not be on a Honda team in MotoGP. It's Ducati, or off to WSBK for him.

Its actually making more sense for Spies to go to WSB. I'm a fan of his in the ever boring AMA's and just can't see him making any major impact in GP, hell he's not even beating Mladin on all tracks and he's not seasoned for battling; going WSB will give him a better feel for competition on the int'l scene.

I agree, Hayden must be sick of riding a bike that was designed for an Oompa-Loompa. If he went with Gresini, he would be riding the same bike next year as he's riding now. He's looking for a factory ride, or he's off to WSBK.

I'm glad that Melandri took the Kawasaki offer rather than the Honda. I would much rather see someone else on the Gresini Honda, although i do think Melandri might get good resluts on it. Of course he took up the Kawasaki offer, he needs to start off with a clean slate and build up the crappy Kawasaki to boost up his confidence as a rider again. Question is who is Gresini Honda looking at for their line-up next year? I just hope it's not Ben Spies.
