I know....I know that seems too early anyway
Whether get or not the title next year, Valentino Rossi leave Fiat Yamaha Team when season 2008 ending ¿Does he back to Honda or sign with Marlboro Ducati?
About this late one. ¿Stoner-Rossi teammates?., sound like dream team but i think would be like Prost Senna at Mc Laren Honda mid 90.
Now speaking about Honda. Hayden was overshadow by Rossi, Does Pedrosa accept him. Money has something to say. At least

Well. Despite lots of rumours and silly talk i think Rossi has said he will end his career with Yamaha. however if he moved i could see him going to Honda or Ducati, depending on who had the best offer for him at the time. Stoner would accept him for sure, because he wants a fair comparison to shut up his doubters, and i think Pedrosa would feel the same. I think Rossi would be more likely to reject a team mate than either of the youngsters. As for the Prost - Senna comment, did you see Dani and Nicky last year, every time they got near each other it became about pride and eventually they paid the price, fortunately the consequences weren't as bad as they could have been.

As far as Stoner is concerned I think this is correct. However, Honda has seen what happens when two teamates don´t get along, the team sufferes (the crash at Estoril 2006). Two rosteres in the same chicken coup doesn't usually work so I think that Ducati and Honda wouldn´t really be too happy, and I don´t think that either Rossi or Stoner would be happy with playing second chair.

yes I kinda think that why Rossi stopped Stoner for Yamaha in 07 .... Geremy must be biting his lip ...... Rossi must have known Stoner was coming ...... they have a closer idea of whats happening/going to happen, I guess.

I don't think Ducati could handle the "bitchin" that would go on if they had Rossi. Would send them broke!

I am sorry, but have a missed something? As far as I recall the only pilot being nasty about team mates is Pedrosa. Rossi has been nothing but excellent to all the other riders, even trying to explain that Stoners fall was due to tire issues. Rossi is one of the most curtious riders out there.

As for the issue with two rosters what I am saying is that having two riders actively fighting for 1st lessens a teams chance to win. You want sinergy on the track two guys working together to get the most podiums and more points for the team. Two guys killing each other in crazy passes (i.e. Honda) doesn´t help the team. You need riders that are willing to work well together.

Ducati would love to have an italian rider win with their bike, it would be gold for them. But to do so Stoner would have to ride shot gun and I don´t think that would be very fair to either rider.

I too believe that Rossi would rather end his career at Yamaha but they have to provide a bike that is as good as the rider on it.

Cheers,

rossi is italian, ducati is italian! I'm so convinced he will go to ducati someday, I'm even willing to make a bet with anyone who wants too
I think it all depends on how well melandri will do. ducati won't let stoner go. so if melandri sucks at it (which I doubt) then they'll might sack him and get rossi. ducati wants to have an italian rider on their bike and what better way to end your carreer could there be if your valentino rossi and you had the opportunity of going to ducati?

You keep saying that. And yeah, he did say it in 2006. But 2007 has turned out to be well below his expectations and he did not mince words about it. Yamaha deliver or he goes.

Im sure Rossi knows the landscape better than i ,but to assume that he can just move to Ducati at his will, and Stoner will like it, is presumptious thinking. To start with,Melandri and Stoner are signed past 2009 and i doubt Rossi would agree to a satellite bike.Second,Stoner dont have to welcome him with open arms, why would he.He is the man at Ducati, that would change with Rossi on board, nationality would demand it.Ducati has found their long time rider, would they risk losing him to appease Rossi for a couple of years.Besides, the way things are looking,by 2009,Honda will have regained the title of having best bike and Michelin might have a better tire.Thats who i see him sucking back up to if the Yamaha isnt doing it for him any more. That way he could go back to the best bike and Michelin without looking like a fool
