I disagree with the first part of your statement, but agree with the second part. He may be trying to maintain psychological dominance or whatever, not that this probably works on rossi anyway, but he should perhaps curb his desire to dominate absolutely every session at least until the new bike is sorted.

According to motogpmatters.com Casey was using 2008 tires which
Rossi said probabaly were not warmed up enough.
