Rather vague article, but it seems Team Roberts will remain in MotoGP in 2008 with an expanded two rider team and without honda engines!

Good news!

i would love to see team kr stay but only if 5hey can have the bits to make them competitive i.e top 10. if not then they should go to where then can have a competitive season.

on a side note/ all he racing deals with foggy seem to fall through before they get off the ground. wonder why. i recon its because he is an asshole so they fuck him off.

So Honda won't supply them with engines.
Ok so what's changed from this year?

There had been attempts by King Kenny to get Ducati engines, mostly likely 2007 spec, to run in their bikes...

Maybe Ducati decided it was a good idea after all....no harm in giving away '07 D'Antin's and Capirossi's engines since they were hardly used this year

I hope this is true. I figured Ducati would be more than happy to sell, rather than scrap the 07 bits. What a win-win for Roberts. This years Ducati engine will probably still be better than most 08 engines.

Plus, when you think about the possibilities of developing that marvelous lump outside the confines of a relatively antiquated chassis design, the possibilities seem endless.

If KR can get the rubber, and get the chassis right, they might be really really good next year.

I reckon KRJR will come back if the bike is capable of scoring podiums again.

yep too right he is. me and dad went to meet him at the local bike store few weeks back, all he did was grunt replies back, was texting most of the time and couldn't give a toss when a lady in front of us showed him a pic of her and him, when he was just starting to make a name for himself. she was real excited, he just looked at it, didn't even speak, signed it and tossed it back to her.

me and dad have now decided that anyone who ever said he was a tosser in the past, are absolutely right. I'm glad his mv deal fell through, hopefully someone nicer will get the deal like kenny senior
