I Ride: Has pedals
What a fuckin' prick. The guy was getting dumped anyway and he knew it, now he cant be bothered riding the bike. Who does he think is going to give him a job now?

If we're lucky we won't have to see him again, not that we really did anyway.

Good news for Davies. Motegi looks as though its decision time for the second seat, I'd be surprised if anyone but Elias got the ride.

I have a feeling it will be Silva.. Chaz was injured during his test at Mugello when he crashed too.. Did he race at Laguna this weekend?

The guy who knocked him off and put a hole in his hand (in a very amateurish fashion) is now taking his seat. I can totally understand why he's frustrated, but theres no excuse for behavior like that.

I Ride: RC213V
He's been sacked. Sad way for a motoGP career to come to an end. Not very professional on his part and may hinder his chances of getting decent rides anywhere in the future. I can see why he was lacking motivation, but if you can't motivate yourself at this level then there's something seriously wrong.
Hope Chaz get's another go so we can have a look how good he is. Silva's not the replacement they need.

I dont think this way. Nobody has the rights to chase him like you are doing, who knows what was going on when Hoffman left the track?

He is human, not a robot programed to race. None rider is forced to race, if the guy is not feeling well, he have the rights to leave the track.

A psychological problem is as rough as any body injuries.

Hoffman does a good job this year, and although I think that another riders deserves his place, it isn't ethic to cut him before the end, just because of this.

This is sounding like an excuse just to cut him, because of poor performance.

Let the man conclude his work this year.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>In fact, D'Antin should give Hoffman a medal for supressing costs. He finishes last whether he tries or not. At least he saved them 20 or so litres of fuel. This hilarious drama has gotten more media time for the bike and the sponsors than a lousy 15th
Well spotted mylexicon, I think you're very right. On the other hand D'Antin want to fight for every point, and had he finished he would have picked up one point. They don't need a rider who isn't motivated..... there are plenty of riders who want to take his seat who are more than motivated. coughDaviescough

6th in formula xtreme and a dnf in supersport. We can't have another rider getting a lucky call up midseason to motogp now can we? He might even get prematurely signed up on a permanent basis!

He injured his elbow in test, got infected and was in hospital but still raced. Anyone know why dnf?

Believe me, Hoffmans very motivated.. he's been one of my favorite racers for a long time, not just because of his racing but also because he's probably the nicest guy in the paddock.

Also, Hoffmans the only german rider, and he does have quite a large german fanbase - this one time, at a pramac show day thing (pramac is a generator for those who don't know) Hoffman was there doing signings (another reason to show he's motivated, doing stuff for the team sponsor.. Barros wasn't there) and the amount of Germans who went up to him querying about motogp was unbelievable.

No guy in the motogp paddock is unmotivated.

Don't forgot, he nearly lost his hand a few weeks back.
