I dont see what you guys have against hoffman... id be pretty pissed off if i found out id been replaced by the guy who caused me to miss several races... and a lot of points for both pramac and hoff

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>im not justifying hoffmans engine... so what if KrJr gave 1 months notice? Was hoffman meant to give 1 months notice that he was gonna stop that race? Did the team give him one months sacking notice?
i have nothing against the hoff, but i think his employers were left no choice but to sack him with immediate effect.
if they had not, think about the message that sends out to others on the team. what would happen if a mechanic didn't finish putting his bike back together the night before because he couldn't be bothered, does he deserve the boot or the lorry driver couldn't be bothered to take all the stuff to the track on time because he couldn't be arsed. it does not matter if your the tea lady or the rider, your there to do your job and fulfill the contract you signed,,end of.

i didnt mean hoffmans engine i ment hoffmans actions little embaressed about that.

Sure, i agree that Hoffman was bad to retire, but sacking him is a bit ott. I mean, if the lorry driver couldnt be bothered, that would ruin the whole teams progress. Hoffman isnt even the number 1 rider, barros is. He wasn't doing well in the race, and could well of been in agony. It wouldnt really be fair of them to force him to ride even though in pain..

^^^

I guess the Lord is too busy with all his legal problems to have time to hand out common sense.

Plenty of other riders are dediacted enough to ride through the pain, Melandri being just one example.
And Hoffman didn't even use that as an excuse anyway.

6th in formula xtreme and a dnf in supersport. We can't have another rider getting a lucky call up midseason to motogp now can we? He might even get prematurely signed up on a permanent basis!

He injured his elbow in test, got infected and was in hospital but still raced. Anyone know why dnf?

Davis or hoffmann (token brit or token krt) who gives a sht - pramac won't be on the podium with either of them. i think d'antin is right to fire him - ha[ppens all the time in the rest of life to people who refuise to do their job. but he should be replaced with somebody good not just another national token

If Pramac want podiums they need to do what Yamaha are for 2008 get some experienced world superbike champs on the second string bikes
