Few little things ive heard:- Elias to join D'Antin alongside Guintoli. and Nakano in negotiations with Gresini, could lineup alongside DeAngelis. |

Yes I heard that as well. Barros has still a contract for 2008 but he is said to be retiring from MotoGP. He may still land the Ten Kate ride in SBK. Bu I think he'll retire completely. |

Barros has an option for a years extension, but both parties still have to agree on that.. Pramac D'Antin expected regular top 5, even podium position finishes (not just one off's) from Alex, that hasnt happened, I think he'll go..

... And just why is it that we would get rid of Tony Elias in the Gresini team? You always need a mad Spaniard around in the mix. He most certainly brought a lot of spice to the grid. I am wondering if he is choosing to go to the Satellite Ducati. It seems to me that the Gresini team was very good run team. Although they weren't a factory ride it was pretty darn close and very good quality team. I am not so sure about the D'Antin Team. What happened to a return of Sito Pons to Motogp? That was also really good satellite team. hmmm. anyone know? |

Elias on a ducati sounds interesting So Nakano gets to stay with Honda and be back on Bridgestone' <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'> Few little things ive heard:- Elias to join D'Antin alongside Guintoli. and Nakano in negotiations with Gresini, could lineup alongside DeAngelis. I'd be pretty happy if these were true.

Sito Pons runs a car in the Renault World Series ( an open wheel series ) so he's hardly likely to return to Moto GP http://www.worldseriesbyrenault.com/ |

it's a Shame Sito Pons won't return... I don't like the shrinking grid - Shrinking paddock. At this rate the Team KR will be out on their tail before the end of the season. ... |
