How come in MotoGP on the podium they only play the winning riders national anthem, and not the winning constructor?

Another thing is that manufacturers, of any kind, include a variety of nationalities. It's easier to find the right anthem for one person (the rider) than it is for the manufacturer.

Might want to consider a quick class in Logic 101 there, Mr. Shupe. Last I checked there were only two nationalities for manufacturers... Italy and Japan. As for riders, they need a lot more than that... included among them Italy and Japan!

As for why they dropped it (I think I'm right in saying that it used to happen), apart from Ducati's return to the class in the four stroke era, can anyone name a non-Japanese manufacturer winning a race since MV Augusta won for Italy back in the 70s? I think they dropped it because it became a moot point (and because kimigayo is a boring dirge!)...
