Hmm - not happy Jan
I had that thought but I think he is still salty.

Fabio suffered bruising to his foot from his off on Friday, his words in an interview, not mine, live on bt sports.
Absolutely. In his pomp he could just about carve through the field from last, second row is fine if he thinks he has good race pace and can ride on worn tires better/preserve his tires better, which may even allow him a broader range of tire options than others.

There is brave then there is foolhardy, a line he sometimes crosses/crossed earlier in his career. I can understand him not going for a banzai qualifying lap after the huge practice crash as you say, both because he had the crash and because of the effects of the crash. I think both the bike and the tires are too unpredictable currently for him to ride as close to the limit as has been his previous practice as well. Maybe Pol has found something in the setup or has learned to ride a difficult bike better as has been said, but he also has much more incentive to go all out, whether or not his lack of results thus far is down to him.

They just reported that Nakagami has a nasty stomach bug. Apparently nobody warned him about the trackburgers.

Was that Marquez giving a touch of retribution gone wrong?

MM rode like an idiot that first lap. Wasn't expecting that at all. This is like 2015 redux with endless crashing.
