I think AM was a good choice. Baffled as to why they shuffled the deck. If not AM I would have picked another Moto2 prospect. Their lack of experience on MGP bikes seems to be a benefit these days. No riding-style baggage, just get on and use all tools to go fast.

I believe the Michelin tires are one of the biggest issues. It's clear they are trying to turn MotoGP into a lottery where you don't know which team is going to matchup with the track they're at, and what they get from the tire allocation. You have to design the bikes entirely to what the tires give you. That may be HRC's major issue; they're designing the bike the way they want rather than how they need to design it.

Turning it to F1. Rules should be 1000Ác two wheels. We are deep into parity rules, too far. Let prototype racing be a thing again, properly.

Honda's situation is very much a repeat of Ducati/Stoner isn't it? Superstar rider masking the true deficiencies of the bike and thwarted by handling issues that a bespoke tyre would fix almost instantly.

I agree in theory. Unlimited prototype however fun it is to geek out over, doesnít necessarily make for great racing. Results are too heavily skewed by the depth of the pocketbook. In an ideal world, there would be unlimited R&D but with all teams limited to the same budget.
