2021 Red Bull Ring - Spielberg Austria MotoGp

Damn... that was a long wait. KTM has confirmed Dani as a wildcard at this race. I'm really curious to see what he can do on a non-Honda.

Yeah it will be interesting.
A long time away from racing and less familiar as a result however.
Let's have him back for the rest of the season

I feel like Dani will do well, he could ride the honda when he was in charge of his own stuff and in KTM, well pretty sure he has a good understanding of how that bike functions by now

I hope Dani goes well...

I am more curious if he is testing the new more powerful engine that was being reported about last year, and was making several other factories very nervous.

Dani just has to be show the potential of the new KTM, and beat most of the Honda's and Ducati's....that shouldn't be impossible for him...

Other than MM, beating the Honda riders shouldn't be such a tall order. Of course that depends on him doing well in quali. Dani's thing was always run away from the get-go and disappear. Coming from behind was never his strength, a thing unlikely to change.

I expect the news of Rossi retiring will overshadow almost anything on track this weekend.

I'm so tired of all the back and forth over Rossi. I went and got a pair of special glasses that filter out anything to do with him. I'm not counting the minutes. It's like a non-event for me. When he's gone, it'll be like the ghost of a bad fart fading away by an open door.
Furiosa and warthog1 like this.

I am really curious to see Dani being far ahead from the other KTM's, is the time gap big?

Carl not where I wanted him hahahaha, my curse continues!

Who else is watching on BT SPORT?

Listening to Gavin Emmet recite irrelevant incidents from past years I'm an attempt to cover up the fact he doesn't have any real insight into what is happening on track.

...." I remember in 2014 when Lorenzo passed Pedrosa on the inside at Turn 11 at Aragon with 7 laps to go...there was 55,000 trackside that day"...
