Really happy the rules allowed for him to re-start, even if it was him that caused the black flag. I'd have liked to have seen more of him during the race, to see how he's adapted to the bike. Glad he wasn't injured. Got friggin' tired of commentators referring to him as The Tiny Samurai. What a nitwit nickname. Maybe the riders should refer to those two as The Snaggle-Toothed Warm-Beer-Drinking Limeys.

I found it odd that he was allowed to restart ... I wanted him to ... was glad he did.

It was good to see him back. He did well.

Was a rather uneventful, yet entirely captivating race to watch. Miller had Qartararo's measure late, just fluffed the corner pushing at the wrong time. He just can't make that final little step that creates a championship charge.

Mir had something for Martin, but never eventuated, brilliant ride from Binder.

Very happy Pedrosa and Salvadori weren't seriously injured.

Great ride for Pedders, top 10 after almost three years away.

Kesh, I was of the impression Pedrosa embraced the Little Samurai nickname, even having a samurai picture on his helmet at one stage.

Is it possible for you to make a post, without judging or looking down on someone. Why do you watch, if you can’t even show admiration, and respect for people risking their lives.
It’s no surprise you are showing that you know nothing about motorbikes and motorbike racing.

BLACK FLAG
This flag is shown together with a number that corresponds to a rider, meaning that the rider must immediately return to the pit.

Maybe you should start learning on a bicycle, instead of a Grom, or a scooter.
I worry about you on a motorbike. You don’t seem able to grasp simple concepts

What a shame the race was RED flagged. There was a great race in the works before Dani lit the fuse. What a daft rule that allows a rider, that caused a RED flag, and BBQ’d his bike to restart.

The Ducati riders are the story of the season. Numerous guys that are fighting for podiums and wins. None of them named Rossi, so sadly noone here mentions them. Jack is the weak link there. Is this his fourth crash this year?

Nice resurgence by Mir. Rim tape and all, he rode a great race. I would love to see him start pressuring Fabio in the second half.
I was hoping for a bit more from the KTM’s at their home track. I’m a big fan of Oliveira and Binder but their inconsistency is puzzling.

I’m convinced, The artist formerly known as Marquez is gone. I just don’t see that edge anymore. He’s morphed back into the former more dangerous version of himself, without the speed.

Yes. You were under the correct impression. Keshav knows fuck all about bikes.

This is general knowledge from people that watch MotoGP or ride motorbikes. You canít walk into a retailer, or go to the helmet section of an online retailer and not see the little samurai helmet.
Not to mention, if you watched a Moto GP race in the last 15 years, you would certainly know this.

Great race and although there wasn't a huge amount of action, it was engrossing because Martin was onroute to his first victory with Mir pressuring just behind, and those merciless track limits to watch out for.
  • Great win for Martin. Zarco must be banging his head in frustration. So close, and yet, his rookie teammate does it, coming back from injury and on his 6th race start. A feat such as this is typically followed by further success.
  • Happy to see Mir fighting at the front. Good race.
  • Fabio - championship ride from him. His campaign has been excellent so far.
  • Good comeback from Binder.
--
  • Miller - Awe shucks. Inconsistent. He will likely end up being a race winner only.
  • Maverick will likely need a psychologist to get him out of his mental state.
  • M Marquez needs to tone it down a notch, I think. A tiny notch.
  • Tough break for Bagnaia
  • A Espargaro must be fuming and I can't say I blame him.

They are really tight on track limits in race conditions. Martins tyre was on the border, at the limit, and that was counted as exceeding the limit.

Would have to agree with most of what has been said.

MartŪn great, shows the Ducatis could have all done well here. I was actually impressed Miller was looking so steady stalking Fabio and when i started cheering for him to pass he just threw it down, C'mon man!!

Mir awesome ride, the bike looked really aggressive exiting corners all low, wouldn't that destroy the tires significantly more? ( I clearly don't know that's why I am asking)

Fabio did well, seems like a natural 4th place had Miller not fucked it up but Maybe Fabio still had something.

Marc is in complete asshole mode & all his antics are unnecessary, especially so soon in the race twice in a race, if he was winning every race maaaaybe this could get a pass but he's causing chaos and then running around mid pack or worse.

Dani did well considering he fucked it up first, top 10 finish and no broken collarbones is a good weekend for Dani, odd he was allowed back but the rule does say if less than 3 laps were made the grid remains unchanged.

Mav.....what to say really, he stalled the bike & I am pretty sure he stalled it while going too soft thinking I am gonna do a great race and prove people wrong, I got this.

Has Aleix not attacked Marc yet? he must be fuuuuuming.

Well he does have the samurai decal on the helmet, but (and I'm not a politically correct person) no short person wants to constantly be singled out for being small. If you're a rider you want to be recognized for your accomplishment as a rider. To use that phrase over and over ad infinitum is just hackey and lazy on the part of the commentator. It's like when Rossi was still hot and 150 times per race they would refer to him as 9-times-world-champion Valentino Rossi. You can be sure when Dani is at a corporate meeting with KTM he doesn't go around shaking hands and saying, Hi - I'm the Tiny Samurai. When he's with his crew, the guys who know him call him Dani and those who don't call him Mr. Pedrosa.

Another post of you passing judgement on others. Such a sad nasty man you are.

Well at least you learned something about motogp today.
Give it another 15 years and you might figure out that Marc has an ant on his helmet.
