Havenít read the most recent reports, but like you donít think opening a window is likely to have caused the problem, much more likely the thing moved when he had the sudden onset of severe pain which ended his attempt to compete on the Saturday of the last race weekend.

Btw, whoever listed the reasons why he might be motivated to return so early has hit upon 1 reason which is very likely important to him, the chance to win 5 titles in a row like Rossi and Doohan, he is a very keen student of the history of the sport. There is every reason to think this setback wonít stop him winning 8 or 9 or whatever, but starting from scratch again is a problem even for him as far as winning 5 consecutive titles.
I actually donít think 5 straight was his target. That only equals, he wants more. The contract he signed with hrc was what 5 years? Not the norm. Iím guessing he targeted 9 straight. Sounds crazy, but this is Marquez. Who knows, this season ainít over till itís over.

We can't forget that we're talking about someone who won last years title with 150 points over second place (albiet a longer season than this one). If anyone can crawl back such a deficit it will be Marc. It will also will be interesting to see how the current leaders respond to the pressure if Marc does in fact start closing the gap on their lead. It could potentially make this season extremely close and thrilling for the fans.

He wont get the title this year anyway. He will miss 5 races and when he comes back; he wont be 100% either. And when he is back; there are 3 in a row again. No chance of crashing at all during fp's, Q, warm up and race. There are only 14 races this season. I dont think he wants to get injured again and miss more races or even end his career like that.

That's the feeling and rationale from a warm seat. We really don't know what Marq will do once he's back.
