Its about time you piped down chap. Throwing around slurs ain't gonna help you. You said what you said. No interpretation needed... I'm not looking to get into a flame war. Far easier to just ignore you from now on. Last edited by ratdeal; July 20th, 2020 at 02:23 AM.

I'm not a Marc Marquez supporter, but don't wish ill of any rider. It's a shame for the championship, because whoever wins will not be measured against the modern era's dominant rider. Let's be honest, he was going to get back into second from the back after a huge run off in the gravel trap. Embarrassing for all the other riders and doing it on a bike they say is a handful. Now we'll see where Honda are without MM to make their beast shine. |

Some positive news coming out of Spain. Nerve involvement will delay recovery by weeks, not months. Marc isn't finished just yet (hopefully)! I sincerely hope he learns his lesson here, he's not out of the woods yet but he may have dodged another bullet. Can't dodge them all. Would like to see him stay onboard more often, even if it means we miss out on the miracle saves. Speaking toRadio Catalunya, Mir said: "Marc won't be at Jerez [this weekend] and the goal is for him to be able to run again at Brno. "It is an injury of some importance. If the nerve is not affected, we will be able to stabilise the fracture and reduce the deadlines [for recovery]." |

And it's about time means that him walking away from crashes without serious injuries will stop as a matter of probability.

You have recontextualised the meaning of the phrasing he used. "Its about time" in common parlance means you are hoping someone finally receives their comeuppance. In any case, I've made my feelings on the matter clear and am happy to put a line under it. Hopefully if what Dr Mir predicts is true Marc will no doubt be grateful to have not been permanently impaired, and we can see him back on the grid, and back to his best.

Marquez got greedy. He wanted to clear Maverick fast and catch Fabio and try for win just to show everyone in paddock who's boss. His skill ran out and after his actions in 2015 I can't say I have any sympathy for him. Totally remind me of Senna in 88 Monaco where he wanted to embarrass Prost and crush him lapping 2 seconds faster even though he had full minute lead. Karma.

Video of him leaving for hospital in Barcelona. He's moving his fingers which is a good start! https://twitter.com/esport3/status/1...396077570?s=20 |

Gui22a, I think you may be having trouble with your written comprehension buddy. Given English isn't your native language and I can't speak Portuguese, we are obviously at an impasse as to the meaning of commonly spoken English phrases. I'm not one to judge, after all being multi-lingual is something to be applauded, for that I admire you as it is a skill I sadly lack. That being said class is an international language, and it seems you are not proficient. There really is no need to bring family and friends into the discussion. I'll let Valentino doing the talking for me in a language we both understand... ![]() |
