Since I can't get into any studios to do demos, I finally gave in and bought an Ipad Pro and some mics and stuff and am buckling down to learn to use Garageband, which is seems initially, pretty daunting.
+1 on GarageBand being initially (and so far subsequently as well) daunting. Trying to get with the 21st century with writing and recording. But my bikes don't have launch control, ABS or any of that stuff so along with tube amplifiers I've still got plenty of 20th century going.....
michaelm, Keshav and Mick D like this.

Yeah - I've been playing guitar since I was 10 and whilst I love effects - I keep it pretty simple. Mostly kind of stone-age pedals on my board and not many. Main amps are hand-wired original '64 Fender Princeton Reverb and a Tweed Deluxe. I stopped playing about 4 years ago because my left hand had gradually turned into a pretty much useless claw from Duputryens' contracture. Finally got the nerve to have reconstructive surgery and after a year of physical therapy I'm back to playing again. When I was unable to play the wife kept bugging me to take up a hobby of some kind and I was unable to think of anything (other than motorcycle stuff) but now she's a little stressed out over the way all the equipment has started to pile up in our modest little house. When the sheltering in place orders came down, I kind of went a bit nuts and now there's about $15,000 worth of new guitars strewn around the house. Luckily she's an obsessive gardener and is out in the yard from daybreak till sundown - so I can play as loud as I want.
