Sepang Testing

It is Saturday early morning here, but in a few hours it will be Sunday in Sepang and the first event of 2020 MotoGP is about to begin.
Normally this shakedown test does not grab much attention, this time it is different. I believe everybody wants to see how well Lorenzo and Alex Marquez will do? Lorenzo is fully healed and should not have any adaptation issues with Yamaha, right? Alex needs to show what his speed is going to be, time is running out and he is sitting on a championship winning bike after all. And KTM, two rookies and revised bike, I'm curious ...

Didnt realize Lorenzo was already inked for this test. Would not be surprised at all if he puts down the fastest lap among all these riders.

Pol and Aleix are at this test? Do KTM and Aprilia have extra allowances?

Day 1. Many riders did not have their times published and Lorenzo didn't get on track at all.
From published times Pedrosa and Pirro were fastest. Alex was 0.7 seconds slower. Does not look very promising for him, if you ask me.
When Lorenzo gets on track and Espargaro does a timed lap the picture should be clearer.

Day 2.
Not much happened. Lorenzo had his picture taken. No timed lap. Out of gas? Flat tire? Dead battery? (These are the reasons which can stop my Wife.)
Pedrosa got under 2 minutes, this is more like it. Pol was 0.1 seconds slower. Was he even out there to set a fast time? This is testing after all, who knows what they are testing there ...
Alex got faster! Only 0.4 seconds slower than DP. Good. Faster he goes, better for show.
