Quartararo's Yamaha held up really well at the end of the race. Would have been interesting if the two factory Yamahas (and Dovi) weren't taken out so early on and possibly stopped Marc from checking out.

Moron.
And you think the season is over already with 12 races to go?

Conserved his tyres on the Yamaha better than both Petrucci and Rins did on bikes that have shown to be pretty good on tyre conservation. Far too early to know if Vinales or Rossi couldíve kept the pace of Marquez.

Watching Petrucci park in the corners was frustrating. Iíve always wondered if Doviís strategy of slowing the race up could result something like we just saw. Obviously that wasnít the case this time.

No the season was still going but it was a competition for 2nd. Even Dovi knew he needed his team mate to ride shotgun for him and Marquez to repeat 2015.

When the brain cools down, despite huge deflation and disappointment, I can't really hate Lorenzo. With his new tank and new seat - he was looking really amazing at the beginning and doubtless was excited to be at the front for the first time in the season. It's easy to say he was trying to win the race in the first laps, but really, who isn't? While he hasn't "mastered" the Honda, it sure as hell looked like he'd made a huge leap forward. He just got way overconfident.

That said . . . I'd still like to kick his ass.

I am gutted from being robbed of a great race. Those riders all together at the front! Damn.

That was an easy exciting two laps.

Don't get the hate on Lorenzo, seems mostly from Rossi supporters/Marquez haters. He made an error, compounded by Dovi checking up a bit, and that's how shit happens. Great ride by Quartararo, totally earned that podium. Petrucci showing consistency. Marquez = GOAT in waiting.

Yeah, Vinales looked deadly in those opening laps which is strange for him.
