I don't recall him speaking so much about his riding style, but more about a bike's characteristics and what he needed to do to it to make it go fast. He was clearly VERY special, a true alien.

Of course, this doesn't mean that he always got dud machinery to go quickly relative to the other bikes on the grid. What was invariably the case, is that he would be faster or as fast as anyone else with the same machinery.

What does all that have to do with Zarco? I guess it shows him up more than anything else. I don't think a top team will have much interest in him if he doesn't start delivering soon. He has no track record in MotoGP to earn him the same patience that Lorenzo has enjoyed while at Ducati and now Honda.
Yes Zarco needs to get his head down a bit and stop shouting over the parapet, mind you I can see nothing wrong with say Oliveira getting his bike next year if he keeps on slamming all and sundry if he can't get it to work, as even though they say they get the same machinery, it seems likeits a couple of races later. Now that Asparagus has got the new frame/swingarm when will the rest get it?

Rumors are currently going around that Zarco is willing to cut his 2 year KTM contract at the end of this year and to switch to WSBK with factory Honda

Everything Stoner said in his autobiography is not necessarily true of course, but it seems a fair bet that it was how he himself perceived things to be. From my reading of the book it seemed to him that it was equally unacceptable both for him to be dominant on a bike that had never won a championship before or riding for a marque for which his idol Doohan had been lauded for winning 5 successive titles. The return to the usual backbiting about riders from that element among fandom a scant few weeks after Simoncelli’s death seems to have crowned his disenchantment with gp bike racing.

Oh dear quiting already. But if he does then they need Oliveira on it as TBO I can't see Syhrahin getting anywhere.

Whether those rumors are true or not, there must be some SERIOUS beef between Zarco and the KTM team. And I am not referring to the Le Mans episode, I think things are far worse than that.

After the second FP the Friday of the Mugello weekend me and a buddy had a box pass so we walked in the pits and stood a bit by each box to look at the bikes. When we were by the KTM box P. Espargaró came in and 5 seconds after he got off the bike all the engineers were around him, as you'd expect. But you could just see the Team revolving around him.

Zarco was alone in his own corner, with a grumpy/sad face and literally everyone in the box was acting as if he was invisible. It was really weird.

Very off putting that, his engineers should be doing something to help instead of ignoring the problem.

KTM and Zarco to depart ways at the end of this season. They offered the seat to Miller but he wanted to remain at Pramac.
