He looked awesome, totally fired up for the race.
Yes he made an error but really it happens every race weekend to many riders (Cal Crashlots...Sam Loweside etc..) just the consequences were huge this time.
Big respect to Rossi who basically said "This is racing...shit happens."

JL99 IS BACK!!

You are not crazy, you are right.

Let's see what happens next.

About Rossi: he really was a class act towards Lorenzo yesterday, which I did not expect but appreciated. He even got mad at an Italian journalist on live TV as he was trying to ask him questions to make him say something negative against JL. He just told him to cut the shit, that there's no beef to be had between him and JL as these things happen.

he will always have the limit of not being able to be competitive when the bike he rides is not perfect according to his needs, yet WHEN he has a perfect bike he's IMHO the only guy that can be at MM's level in terms of speed.

I really hope he will get competitive asap. A fast Lorenzo is only a good thing for the championship.

Back to Ducati?

I think he has unfinished business there and they would better entertain what he wants after confirming how devastatingly quick he can be on the Ducati once he's comfortable.

I wasn't joking. They need an alien. They didn't sign a new contract with Petrucci (although it was expected), did they?

Yeah mate, Ive heard the L-twin and subsequent L-4 terminology used in heaps of magazine articles when discussing the Ducati V-twin and V4 engines. Im not sure of its technically the right terminology or not.

I think the 90 degree cylinder banking might make the engine an odd shape to package into the frame. I've never owned or played with a Ducati so honestly don't know but like most things there are probably pro's and con's to it.

I don't think it was desperate, I think it was a goof

they knew (or should have known) that JLo's riding style did not suit their bike. plus they have Cal they could have bumped up... Nakagami has quietly done well on the honda... Jack Miller and Mobidelli might have been options.

In actual fact it Jorge who reached out to Puig. He also took a multi million euro pay cut.

If there is any desperation to be found it was in Jorge knowing he would be out a ride at a time when silly season begins half way through the rider's two year contracts.
