As a rookie, Smith was burying him, now take a look at whats happening.
His podium at Valencia last year was a fluke, half the field fell.

His riding style suited the Yamaha.

Pol is faster than Zarco (so far) on the KTM, but Zarco was faster than Pol on the Yamaha.

I would say comparing the Yamaha to KTM and then deducing that the Yamaha is the best bike on the grid is idiotic. I get what you're trying to do and guess what? it's been done. Move on.
