Puig: Rossi canít accept Marc # 1

https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/ne...jCpgR2O6et8UVM

Pretty much everything a lot of us hear have said. Rossi cannot mentally accept not being the focus of the GP universe , he uses his fan base as a weapon, Marc is totally unaffected by Rossi or his fan base and actually feeds off it.

I can't help but wonder, to what end Pugh aspires when making this remark to the press. The observation is patently obvious, only sort of newsworthy because Pugh is so well known in the business. If Marquez is discreet enough to keep his personal feelings about Rossi to himself, why does Pugh feel the need to play gossip girl?

Puig is a drama queen. His criticism of Pedrosa was extraordinary. What did he expect to achieve by criticizing a retired rider?

Do you have a link for this? I have seen Pedrosa's tweet in response, but am unable to find puigs comments.

The comments about Dani... these are the words of a dick-head (big surprise). And that business about HRC never having a preferred rider... pffft! What horseshit. The way they acted like Nicky'd never won in 2006, whilst pretty much building the following iterations for Pedrosa was some of the most blatant favoritism I've ever seen.

I have to think he has some sort of gameplan to come out and say something like that almost out of the blue. Maybe an attempt to have Yamaha move back to developing for Rossi(after he decides he must prove him wrong) at the detriment of Vinales who is more of a threat to Marquez and/or Lorenzo?

While you and I and others in this forum know that what he is saying is obvious many don't, though those that don't won't be swayed by his words anyway.

He's pretty rough on Pedrosa as well, it's hard to hear Pedrosa didn't try when he had so much surgery to correct injuries and still continued.

They didnít call him Darth Puig for nothing. He is great at identifying young riding talent, but pretty much a total prick otherwise imo.

Still, if he feels like needling Rossi given Rossiís own malfeasance in regard to MM, why not?. Perhaps he is attempting to demonstrate his support for MM. The thing is, as has been said, is that MM just doesnít care, and if anything feeds off Rossiís so-called mind games.
