He is second in the championship without a single win “in a field this stacked”.
So yes, with a few wins added to that, there’s a very good chance he can win the championship.

Being second in the standings with this stacked field is indeed creditable, but MM is the problem as has been said, he has a nearly 2 maximum points race lead, with 5 wins, and Rossi’s (and his) non-points scoring race would likely have been a 6th win sans the incident which wouldn’t have helped Valentino.

You are not credible, gramps. You were one of many who said Maverick will wipe the Yamaha garage floor clean with Rossi. So what happen? How is that working out?

He is two races down, so what f he wins a couple of races. Marquez on average will podium and Rossi will make up minimal points.

And did if memory serves. Now we have Rossi leading Yamaha down developmental path to destruction ,but hey, at least he stopped his teammate because that he the first person you have to beat, right? . Now we are hearing that the Yamaha problem is the engine itself after listening to Rossi babble on for months about electronics.

The only manufacturer to have podiums until this round and P2 rider in the standings.

AKA “Development path of destruction” in Neanderthal land.

Great to see Lorenzo coming to grip with the hard tire...he might have pulled the pin a little too soon. All in all a good performance. Congrats to Dovi, he keeps his cool one more time.

It’s clear that given a bike that is equal to the Honda and the Ducati, Rossi can still win races. But that’s not going to happen this year.
Yes, the ability of the Yam to pick up and go is pretty ropey.

As for a bike that is equal to the Honda, I suppose that depends on how you measure the standard of the bike. By that I mean that realistically if you remove the MM factor, the Honda looks pretty toillette.
If you mean an equal bike in terms of acceleration then yes, I think Vale could've won races this year. But he would still be 2nd in the championship, just by 10 or so less points.

Good, you have admitted it, no more whining from you and the sheep about the Yamaha being a turd . Now if you can come to grips that Rossi is not in Marquez’ league you will be a much happier little boy.
