It'll be as shitty as Formula E.

The need to run these electric only series blows my mind. I don't see any real point since they claim to be environmentally friendly, while ignoring the environmental impact of the batteries.

One of the reasons why I can't adapt/accept current hybrid electric automotive technology.

Yes, the resources expended in making the batteries at significant, and the electricity which charges them is likely to be produced by burning fossil fuel.

But now is the time to be setting up the infrastructure. Before we no longer have fossil fuels.

As a side note ..... I now have the ability ti charge my electric mountainbike totally solar. It is hella cheaper .... but not as good on rainy days.

Did a price comparo when charging via fosil fuels though:

Emtb <10c per 50km
Car $4 per 50km
Moto $2 per 50km
