I'm not knocking Danillo and I hope that I am wrong.
Maybe I am just being short sighted and can't see past the present. There was a small part of me that wanted Ducati to make a left field choice and keep Dovi as their stalwart whilst taking a punt on someone else 'out of the blue.' Perhaps that's why I don't run a race team for a living.
I hear you, and frankly I think Ducati have taken a left field choice (Rossi, Cuntslow, Lorenzo) and got burned. 30 million dollars wasted, not to mention all the bikes they crashed. Maybe they learned their lesson.

Wings will exist, but they cannot be disassembled either in parts or completely. So if you choose to run wings, they will stay on all the time.

So most probably, everyone will have Yamaha style wings next year.

More importantly though, custom IMUs are banned. There goes the “Magical” traction and tyre savings that the Ducs have been doing the past couple of seasons.
So as Honda "magical" taming for Magneti Mareli ECU. BTW, Honda has been using an inertial platform in their MGP project for more time than any other company (born in Asimo robot).

With all these banning, MotoGP is riding at fast pace to being a kind of "Moto 1". No more protos, no more innovation, nothing, you just print your company logo onto a bike with some standard chinese engine and tawanese chassis.

Very nice.

It seems Italians never learn. In the Stoner/Rossi's epoch, the problem was Gabriele Del Torchio. A cunt. He got fired and now Domenicali took the charge, just for doing exactly the same: to undermine the project, burn money, disturb work, and shit all over the team. Just like any good old latin boss.

On the plus side for ducati, we know that Petrucci knows how to get out of the way for riders who aren't his team-mate, imagine how quick he will move for his team-mate ...........

In some ways I think Ducati made some god moves signing riders like Miller, Rabat, and Bagnaia. but with Petrucci, they have had him on a factory spec bike for a while now, and the Pramac team does get a lot of support from the factory, so should we really expect him to be any better next season when he is on a red bike?

You can’t send a Mapping8 message from the Ducati Corse garage to a Pramac bike.
