Implied support without having the balls to say it outright.
I mean really... is anyone actually surprised?

My understanding has always been that, in fact, all 8.5 million are gay.

Glad to see you still have your sense of humor Pov. In the same vein, I'm sure there's got to be a few people south of the Mason-Dixon who aren't card carrying Klan Members. Am I right?

I myself feel that I can take the odd shot at Synn who often makes calls on the accuracy of the posts of others, including mine, and has questioned my comprehension on multiple occasions for that matter, which was the point of my post, and it was Synn agreeing with an inaccurate statement which triggered me.

While far from the case with you obviously particularly in the context of what we are discussing, being called a Trump supporter would be worse than any insult that has ever been leveled at me since I joined the forum in 2007.
I also try when possible to not get overly pedantic. That said, Synn did in fact get onto my website and knowing nothing about me, deduced that my name (or the name I've been known by for years) is derived from my past association with Hindu practices which I found at the time very enlightening; and the culture really wonderfully engrossing. I did for a period of time very much identify with the Bhakti practice, tho in time, I outgrew it. Synn tho, in his frat-boy mind thought to deride me by using numerous references to Hinduism because apparently, religion or spiritual practice is something to be ashamed of as I assume it's somehow anathema to racing. Having spent a lovely summer one year with a girl who lived in the Southall section of London which is heavily populated by Indians, I'm well acquainted with all the coded race-baiting expressions like dot-heads, towel heads and any number of words with "curry" tacked on, which are implicitly racist - because 95% of Indians are, or Identify as Hindus. He repeatedly used the phrase "Come again" which on the face of it is a harmless catch phrase used on "The Simpsons" tho because of Groening's sensitivity to criticism I understand they stopped using that catch phrase. About 18 years ago there was a well publicized uproar in the Indian community about Apu, the only Indian character on The Simpsons because he was portrayed as a sing-song, simple-minded dimwit. And the character was duly updated to not seem so silly. There's actually a scene in a movie from about 6 years ago, where two racist jerks behave obnoxiously in an Indian restaurant and one of them baits the waiter with the "Come again!" catchphrase and the waiter turns around and dumps the food on the customer's head in protest. The writer of the screenplay wanted to point out just how offensive that character is to the South Asian community. To bait someone (even if ineffectively) with sneering references to their spiritual practice, whether it be Bhakti, Islam, Buddhism or Catholicism is to be a bigot.

Personally I don't spend much time thinking about religion itself. But bigotry and intolerance are always going to be wholly repugnant to any civilized person.

In the event, I thought Synn was Roger, and was wrong. Synn thought I was a "Hare Krishna" and, now apparently, a Trump supporter, LOL, and was doubly wrong. I guess that makes us even.

This post reeks of "I'm not a racist because I have a black friend." Ending with your typical fox news style comment to sway the viewers. Enough is enough. Calling a white man curry fat or curry jerky isn't racist. An example of racism would be something like calling a mexican a mexican monkey. That would be worse don't you agree? I mean by your own standard above it is, so whats up with the double standard? Keep in mind the term mexican monkey has a direct meaning. Its a derogatory term for a half black half Mexican implying the have the worst qualities of both races. So please tell me again how calling a fucking white man curry fat is as bad as calling a Mexican the above? Why was that even necessary if rog was synn? And for fucks sake don't tell me a story about a Mexican girl you once knew as a response.

Dub, take time an actually read and comprehend what has been said, instead of trying to look between the lines for things that aren't there. Has nothing to do with ridiculous accusations of my being racist. You should know by now, that whatever I believe in, I believe in. And I'm not shy about who I am. If I was a racist, I would be an in-your-face racist, not some beat-around the bush racist.

I never said the girl was Indian. She wasn't. I was pointing out that these common expressions of religious intolerance were overheard everywhere in that particular London community.

The term I used, several years ago is a nonsense term. Before Knockdown dredged up that obscure reference, I'd never heard of the expression Mexican monkey. When I used the term "Mexican Monkey Fuck" as another way of saying SNAFU it wasn't in any way referencing Jumkie or directed at him and there was no reason why he would believe it was. It was only JKD's perverse impulse to make a mountain out of a molehill for the purpose of inflaming members into yet another ridiculous battle that made Jumkie all of a sudden latch onto this as yet another wedge to drive between myself and other members.

Bigotry and intolerance have never been limited has never been limited to issue surround the pigment in one's skin. The expressions he used were well known skin-head code words calculated to offend persons of a particular faith or religious practice. That is unambigous religious bigotry.

I don't have any double standard. If the expression I used inadvertently offended Jumkie, he's smart enough to know it wasn't intentional. Whereas, Synn pointedly used racist code words and phrases in a clearly derisive tone calculated to offend me personally.

If you stop... and take a breath and actually think about it, there is no comparison.

As to the Roger thing, I say so what? A person can't speculate about the identity of a member??? Why would that be? Rog is an ordinary guy. He's not the prophet Mohammed. Why anybody treats him like some sacred cow is beyond me. I have no obligation to speak well of Roger. We parted ways a long time ago. We weren't friends then and nothing has changed. It's time that a few people here stop propagating the nonsense idea that he left the forum solely because he and I didn't get along. Michael has pointed out that Zoot was a big reason why Roger split. And I have a copy of a PM from Jumkie stating in no uncertain words that Roger had become disenchanted with Powerslide because he there were too many Australians on the forum. That's the reality.
