Jum' (if you don't mind me calling you that), your points all make total sense. I don't contest them, I just disagreed with some of the stroner terminology jonny used.
As your post has proved, there's more than one way to skin a cat.

You can't much argue with that!

Hector’s eyes made me think he played for the other team, that was until I read that he got arrested for beating up his then girlfriend.

So, meh rider, PoS human being.
Good riddance.

We had a thread about it here somewhere several years ago. I can't remember the details, but the thing I remember was she got busted too. (And before anybody says it, domestic violence is no laughing matter, which I think we actually qualified our remarks back then). Anyway if his girlfriend did get busted then it probably means she slapped him up a bit, which if you've ever met him (and we did at Indy) it's totally believable that he'd get pummeled by a girl (no offense ladies).

Its funny we're talking about Hector, he's in news for DUI. Probably got his vehicle towed...

They were both convicted

'Hector Barbera and his 23-year-old girlfriend have both been convicted of assault in a summary justice procedure in the Spanish courts. An altercation between the couple in a hotel in Jerez got out of hand late Thursday night, resulting in physical violence between the two, leading to them both being convicted for assault. Barbera was given a sentence of six months, and his girlfriend, referred to in reports only by her initials D.P., received a sentence of five months, both of which were commuted to fourteen months' community service, Spanish media are reporting.'

Source from the google was kropo's site so not going to post a link to avoid any BS

A MotoGP star in a handbag fight. Now there's something we've never seen before.
