Crash or win ... he almost did the same thing in Valencia last year and tossed away his championship to Dovi. I've never seen such an idiotic rider with zero common sense.

Doesn't change the facts, Marquez crashed and we had to waste two laps with a view of his ass racing for 17th ... how exciting!! Jorge might have liked the view of his ass, but I was more interested in what was going on up front in spots 1-6 ... you know, with the riders that actually had enough talent to stay ON their bikes.

Rossi was no where near as aggressive as Marquez, and Jorge won plenty of championships without crashing everyone out and being stupid aggressive like Marquez. I understand it's hard for you Marquez thumpers to accept the limitations of Marquez's intellectual power, but how many riders in the MotoGP paddock have said they want to be just like Marquez, vs. those that have said they want to be just like Rossi???

No takers? That would be 0 for Marquez and about 15 for Rossi (riders that have publicly stated as much).

So how much has Marquez given back to MotoGP??

Rossi has established a VR Rider's academy, invites most of the paddock to his motorcycle training ranch, owns Sky Racing Team for Moto3 and Moto2 ... and what has Marquez done? Sold poster of "I'm the greatest" do those silly victory dances (what a boy, grow up)?

And lets face it, Rossi's current lady friend is something the little boy Marquez can only dream about:

But there again, I guess most of you Marquez fanatics don't want to see him with a girl.

Cheers, Rob.
Some of your points are correct, they did spend too much time following Marc once he was in 17th and it was entirely his fault that he crashed. He should have learned to not be in the 'win it or bin it' mind set.

But your other reasoning is a bit toilet, mate.
The other riders that you state don't want to be like Marc simply don't have the ability to push a bike like Marc does. It sounds harsh, but it is true and some have stated as such.
Unfortunately, stating that because riders stayed on in one race, they have more talent than Marc is using the exception to try and prove your case. I would suggest looking at a wider pattern of empirical data to see where the talent lies in Motogp and that would be the last 5 seasons and who the winner was.

Yes, Vale has done an awful lot for the sport. But how much of the team ownership, riders academy/ranch did he have established when he was Marc's age (25)?

I am sorry you don't like that Marc has done a couple of dances when winning, so I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Vale used to have all sorts of victory celebrations. So if this is a criteria for whether or not you like a rider then you might want to revise your allegiances.

As for the girlfriend, well I don't really know what to say about that argument that you have brought to the table. Do you genuinely in your heart of hearts think that that is a valid reason for Marc being a lesser racer than Vale? You have to admit that is a bit puerile. What dastardly plans do you have for Marc? Kick him in the shins, push him into a bush and steal his lunch money?

Still 4 titles in 5 years of motoGP. That's quite a lot for a guy that can't learn a thing.

All the rest of your post isn't worth a reply. I just feel sorry for you, you seem really angry at the world.

It's ironic because I've sat with people who have never watched racing before and been asked if the commentators talk about anyone other than Rossi.

You mean using your own logic against your POV ... and then you "adjust" your logic ... the moving target of "your" logic. Gee where have I seen this before, oh in every one of your posts.

And then the perpetual putting words in my mouth that weren't actually said or inferred ... in a pathetic attempt to validate "your logic".

Don't hate the world, don't hate any other MotoGP rider in any class, except Marquez ... he warrants hate because of his actions on track. But hey, there is good news, Marquez is testing out an F1 car, a crappy F1 car (junior team Torro Rosso) ... shame, Rossi tested the Ferrari F1 car ... speaking of which how are those F1 Honda engines doing? ... I suppose they are blowing up less frequently than last year, but still way down on power. But I'd love to see Marquez move to F1 but he'll need to rethink his crash or win method of racing.

By actions on track he means beating Rossi like a red headed step child and giving as good as Rossi gave to others.

How can you support Rossi after he has been far more malicious than Marquez on track of it's strictly the on track stuffy you have an issue with?

What a sore loser or at least that's how you come across. Dang, relax, tell your parents about this experience and once they made you feel better about yourself and the world by providing a save room or a puppy you can ask'em for permission to come back to this forum again.
