More or less, some pages translate on Google chrome so I could get the gist of it. Just been reading an article on autosport which is saying Dorna wants to keep him in moto gp and his most likely destination is Marc vds running satellite Yamahas.

Too bad it couldn't be right now. Would love to see him alongside Zarco, outriding the two factory riders. I can't imagine Yamaha won't learn from this year's mistakes and copy whatever it is that is right with the satellite bikes as a correction to the 2019 iteration. One wonders if they actually have sussed out where they went wrong (other than the first 2018 chassis).

Credit to Dorna then.

Just as was the case with Valentino, the last note for a multiple world champion such as Jorge shouldn’t be as a failure with Ducati imo.

It's not an official, Jorge is out statement, but it's far from encouraging!

My interpretation is that it's a pre official statement statement, just so nobody is shocked when it comes

Yeah but that's just Rossi whining like a big girls blouse. If Marquez was on the Yamaha Rossi would still lose. MM won the title in the "Honda that couldn't be ridden".

I read somewhere (a quote from one of the factory Yamaha techs), that it's simply down to Zarco using the 2017 engine, which they have a load of data for and is already as electronically mapped out as it's going to get.

They are someway away from this point with the 2018 engine it would seem...

Apparently, the factory boys have also tested a new engine that they both preferred, but it was already too late for the 2018 season.

Does anyone know if they managed to secure the MM software engineers they were rumoured to be courting a few weeks ago?

Agreed, but they need and I'm sure they will give him a full spec factory bike.
