Jarvis wasn't exactly in the background, he was handing out yellow bananas with a red clown nose.

I Ride: Your mom on most days.
Uccio is no one to mess with.
He would sit on Marc until the airbags deployed.

He most likely had Rossi’s approval to do so. Rossi could have even told him to say that. And if anyone at Yamaha with power that was present at the time namely Jarvis thought that he was out of line for doing so, don’t you think they would have interfered and put him in his place? Like whoa who do you think you are?! Unless Jarvis is afraid of Uccio and Uccio runs Yamaha garage.
And Puig dragging Marc like a little kid there to apologize, that was not the right move either.

I am a guy who posts on an Internet bike racing forum. Why, who are you?.

It was well reported that the Yamaha top brass were displeased..

Links?
I don’t recall seeing anything of that sort on the usual Motorsports news sites.

I think you misunderstood what I said, I wasn’t asking who you think you are . I was thinking what Jarvis could have said to Uccio. Like “hey, who do you think you are?!”

Not sure of top dogs being displeased but Jarvis himself said that was not the time and place and that Marc if he wanted to apologize should have waited for things to cool down a bit.

I think he'll end up at Suzuki, don't think we'll see him win a championship again though.

It was very definitely reported. Like all these things it depends what you want to believe, but that applies to those on both sides of this long argument. I am not good at links, but the report by an Italian journalist is easily googled, and I believe is under:-
https://imotorbike.my/news/2018/04/m...r-his-behavior

More generally, what we have is a direct statement by Uccio in an interview that it was he who discerned MM's "cheating" at PI 2015, no suspicions from Rossi post race on the day, no answer to Povol's request at the time for a date stamped comment from anyone at all casting any doubt on MM's conduct in that race prior to a certain press conference 5 days later for that matter, and video footage of Uccio dismissing MM from the garage post race at Argentina, fairly clearly saying fuck off even with my rudimentary lip-reading skills, with Rossi well in the background. All of the preceding is completely factual, while your fellow traveler apparently just has absolute knowledge, presumably drawn directly from the ether, that Uccio is just fantasising about the PI 2015 matter and that Uccio had Rossi's approval to tell MM to fuck off. If the latter is true that makes Rossi a complete hypocrite anyway, btw.

There is rather strong precedent involving a much more egregious error by Rossi; MM did at least take is helmet off.
