Lol Uccio cracks me up, but real talk I don’t think he has any influence on Rossi. He might be buzzing in his ear a lot but assumptions that he came up with all the conspiracy theories is a little far fetched IMHO. They are childhood buddies, Rossi is his meal ticket and that’s that.

I find it incredible that everyone is writing this guy off. He has five world titles, and has the fifth highest tally of race wins in history and is still young.
Jorge shouldn’t be written off, and would immediately be competitive back on a Yamaha and possibly even on a Suzuki imo, but that doesn’t mean him being written off can’t happen.

See Eddie Lawson’s late career. He might have been not only better than Lorenzo, but also better than MM and Rossi, and ended up on a Cagiva with only 1 intervening season after a title win.

Lot more talent options now than when Rossi tried his Duck Experiment. Now that George failed on the Duck experiment, he is going to pay for it. He is still one of the best top 4 or maybe top 8 riders out there, but he rolled the dice to get the big bucks, and he missed. Now he is going to have to live with it.

I think he is out of the Duck seat next year. That leaves with the Suz or the Apillia ...

Good to see you posting WV99. Hope all is well.

Just going by the way Ducati team boss Ciabatti expressed himself, body language seemed glum, he didn't sound endeared to Jlo. Didnít sound like a man who was thrilled to have Jorge on board. Contrast how Lin Jarvis speaks about VR or Suppo/Puig speak of Marc. Could you imagine Jarvis/Puig asked so who you guys putting along side Pedro/ViŮalez, and they say, well don't know, we're still thinking about it, but definitely Cuntslow and Morbidity/ Hafizh Syahrin are looking like viable candidates.'

So it wasnít Uccio who told MM to fuck off out of Rossiís garage post-race after the Argentina incident, earning Yamahaís displeasure to the extent that they reportedly felt the need to rein him in ?.

Haha thatís funny. I donít know the real dynamics of their friendship but when the media asks him stuff, his opinion on things and when he tells these kind of stories that reminds me off when they ask one of Mayweatherís bodyguards or someone that hangs out at his gym if and when heís coming back to the ring or if heís gonna try MMA or whatís his beef with this guy or that guy. Itís all gossip and all theyíre trying to do is get a little camera time and be relevant ...... at least thatís what I think.

The parallels with Rossi’s Ducati adventure continue. As was the case with Rossi in 2012, I strongly doubt Jorge has suddenly lost his talent and am confident he is still significantly better than top 8 on a suitable bike, including being better than Rossi were he to return to the Yamaha factory team. I also doubt he has Carmelo batting for him to regain such a ride though.
