Hmmm, Petronas Yamaha with Lorenzo and Syahrin?

Rumours abound but Petronas do have money and are Malaysian as is Syaharin

Genuinely no idea but have just seen that Petronas one and it could work out as they have the money.

Plus, if VDS decides to sell out he could easily do so to a team with Petronas money and, with Petronas having been a personal sponsor of Syahrin for his entire career it makes sense that he stays.

Of course DORNA see a great market in that region so would support a local rider but any team would need some experience and Lorenzo has that in spades with yamaha (I suspect that DORNA will want Syahrin for another few years yet)

All rumours but joining dots it could be logical, but it is only one of many that could be logical but this way, in a few years (if we continue the 'what if' scenario) you could easily expand the Petronas team to VR46.

Again, all rumours but hey, why not play a little.

Edit to add.
On MarcVDS it will be interesting but if all depends on who to believe actually has the power and licence.
A lot of talks says Bartholemy is the one with the power which if true could easily mean he goes to other sponsors, but I guess we will find out over time.
Sure puts a different slant on silly season for a change

Sounds like Morbidelli and Luthi gets screwed in any scenario to save Jlos career...

I would like to see J.Lo continue in MotoGP, but not at the cost of Morbidelli.
Give him Xavier Simeon's seat or something. No one will miss him.
Is Belgium even a real country?

Perhaps Valentino should have gotten his VR46 team going in the premier more promptly then rather than hanging around on the Yamaha factory team to no purpose I can discern. Jorge and Zarco on the factory team, Morbidelli and whomever on the VR46 Yamaha satellite team, swap Zarco and Morbidelli if you like, looks to me to have been a good way to go, both options constrained by Valentino persisting on the factory seat at age 39 as far as I can see.

Why is Dovi persisting in a factory seat at age 31?
He is P8 in the championship!

Or how about Pedrosa at age 32?
He is P10!

Dani has been a trooper and has contributed to HRC's title bids for the manufacturers' title but I would agree with many others that he has had his time as a factory Honda rider, and I strongly doubt he is ever going to contend for a riders' title now.

Most evidence would suggest Dovi is riding at close to his peak, and is also close to uniquely good on the Ducati. If you wish to argue Valentino should have Jorge's seat at Ducati I am fine with that.

Jorge Lorenzo : "I will continue for two more years. I will be on a good bike. More information at Barcelona."

Guess we'll have to wait, anyway I'm really happy that he's not retiring this year!
