So, whilst I don't agree with or like a lot of Vale's statements and behaviour, it has to be put into context of someone who has, to an extent, a totally different thought process to myself.
It doesn't stop me raging at the telly though. I went rhino when watching Sepang 15.
The clincher for me was when it emerged it wasn’t even Rossi’s deduction, with Uccio subsequently proudly announcing that it was he who divined MM’s perfidy in tanking a race he actually won. If Rossi himself thought during the race that something was awry, he would still imo have been incorrect but I haven’t won many gp bike racing championships, approximately the same number as Uccio actually. I formed the opinion that Rossi is lost, living in a bubble informed by syncophants led by the said Uccio.

It's funny on Krops forum right now they're discussing how Lorenzo lacks self awareness which is ironic coming from Rossi fans.

They might have a point, given Lorenzo already had the example of Rossi’s Ducati adventure and still chose to sign with them himself.

He might be smarter than everyone, at least he has been more generously remunerated for being miserable at Ducati as opposed to continuing to be miserable at Yamaha. Perhaps he is contributing something to the recent quality of the bike if Ducati are still considering keeping him as is being said.

I'm still holding out hope he can get on something that suits him. He's arguably the second best rider on the grid and we are watching him fight just to get into the top 5. Plus next year he loses his preferred aero at Ducati which could make him even more uncompetitive.

Yeah. I'd really like to see him on the Suzuki, above all. He would have an entire factory devoted to developing a bike around him, and a familiar bike configuration to the Yamaha. It'd be great to have another factory battling for the title.

Hopefully Suzuki are clever enough to realize his value.

Lorenzo clearly lacks self-awareness (he really hurts himself in the media circus), but he had a different (read Andre Agassi-like) childhood to most. He's still an awesome rider to behold when he's comfortable.

His corner speed when on the right bike is just devastating to watch.

He's poetry in motion. His riding style is the antithesis of Marquez.
