I expect he has got a pile of money, certainly should after his lifelong love affair with HRC, but would he want to be a HRC test rider, I hope not, after all life is too short and its always good to see over the other side of the fence.

I Ride: Shanks pony.
If Marquez has any input Dani will stay exactly where he is. He won't want a teammate to be regularly taking points from him.

I genuinely believe it wouldn't faze him at all. His confidence at this stage seems unshakeable.

You say that but honestly, who do you think could consistently take points from him on the Honda? There isn't many better riders than Pedrosa, Lornenzo is currently the only guy who you could say without any doubt is Pedrosa's superior.

I think his team cares about his team mate but I don't think he personally gives a fuck because he is extremely confident in his abilities.

Plus all this talk about Lorenzo going to HRC, wasn't he already an employee once? According to Rossi in 2015?

I think Marquez is fearless. He believes he can beat anybody out there. Rossi on the other hand has had a history of choosing second rate teammates over the years until Lorenzo came along. Remember his ultimatum to Yamaha, “either him or me” before bolting to Ducati believing he and Burgess could fix the Duc in 30 seconds?

Of course if Stoner were available for the slot.

Wait for it....

I agree, but Alzamora might be a different matter, although even he is likely insufficiently paranoid to believe that anyone is currently a threat to MM on a bike designed around MM.

As I have said I agreed with HRC not having Stoner wild card in 2015, they were trying to talk him into not throwing the bike down the road racing Lorenzo and Rossi, having the most recent previous Honda world champion out there for him to race as well with a bike that was a handful that year would hardly have aided their cause.
