Used to work at the Tard meets whenever they were held in NSW on weekends plus did a couple of Victorian ones as well as MotoMayhem plus ran a couple of track days at Marulan

The Tards are easily the most spectacular (closely followed by road race sidecars) and are a cheap entry level but for some reason, we live in a country fascinated by the high performance sports bikes.

Heck, I remember the St George 4 hour race a while back where the ACT Supermotard club had a 4 bike entry. Race run at Wakefield park and I recall two seriously distinct things.

1. A stunt rider who entered into a team for fun was the fastest in the wet on a CBR900 complete with crash bars.

2. Every one of the ACT motard boys would leave the track on T9 and re-enter at T10, often overtaking other riders in the process. Shame was that Race Direction had to chat with them due to complaints and suggest that they stay on the tar stuff -- and man, they were quick
