How to make Yamaha great again.

Ok Yamaha are up shit creek. Its their own contractual thinking that has got them in this bind.

Yamaha was once one of the two prime teams in GP but not any longer.

Its not the bike .... Zarco proves that. Vinales started too but that was nipped in the bud pretty quick.

Im thinking to cure their problem Yamaha needs to pull away from rossi and his enterage. This is a start:

"Maurizio Bruscolini who quoted sources within the team, made the Yamaha management in Iwata question who’s really in charge of operations at the factory Yamaha team, and so they warned Uccio for his behavior.

Yamaha doesn’t want to see Uccio repeat this type of actions again in the future, and they’ve told him that if he does it, he won’t be able to enter the Movistar Yamaha box again."

But also next contract time ..... start a new team with Lorenzo and Zarco.

I dont know who HRC could get to compete with that. Marquez can .... but the team mate. Maybe Marquez doesnt need a great team mate.

Whatever the case Yamaha needs to be great again.

Bit of a repeat of a single post I did in another thread but it warrants its own thread.

Gotta start at the top on this one.

Weak management caused their problems.

Start swinging the axe there.

There are online petition sites, like this one: https://www.ipetitions.com/

Why don't you write up a petition to Yamaha management, telling we will not buy their bikes as as long they keep this fraud on their payroll. I will sign at once. Even with a few hundred signatures it will catch their attention and at least make them think, maybe this is not a winning card they are playing.

Probably not a good idea to actually copy what Rossi fans have done.

I Ride: An R1
I'm going to do my bit by selling my R1and getting a fireblade,it'll make me feel good anyway however small a gesture it is in the grand scheme of things.Yamaha know Rossi is the most popular rider in the world so they will continue kow towing to him,i would love to see that cunt Uccio get a ban from the pit garage though just so i don't have to keep looking at the wankers face,he is making Yamaha look stupid in my opinion,a fucking glorified i pad holder turning the world champion away like he's the main man, they can't let him get away with acting like that and have any credibility if you ask me,ban the cunt now!

I'd be perfectly fine if Yamaha would never become great again, honestly

It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a satellite team with Jorge running last years bike and develop it from there.
The factory team seem to have lost their way and I get the feeling that 'development for development's sake' has fogged the picture, whereas they should've said, 'if it ain't broke then don't try and fix it,' early last year.

I don't want to turn this into a Vale rant and this is just pure supposition on my behalf, but is it possible that Mav's dominance early on in the season may have led to Vale calling for a different course of development?

If you really want to see Vale win another title then use that ipetition website to lobby for the re-introduction of 'overnight special' tyres for him.

Maybe Yamaha need to fire the head engineer and hire Preziosi as his replacement to appease “the one”. Chief mechanic might have to go with him. Hi Jeremy. Actually, ths time we might have to throw the whole team under the bus............. or just blame it all on Marquez.........

Ok so in ONE race in mixed conditions Zarco finishes ahead on the old chassis. When 6 races have passed and he's the third Yamaha will you start another thread?

You're right, it still pretty early in the season but Zarco was either on beating the two factory yamahas or fighting them for podiums at the end of last year. That's WITHOUT(ask LCR what a difference it makes)full factory support, if not for a tyre failure Zarco may have beaten both factory Yamahas across the line in Qatar as well. He has beaten 1 or both factory Yamahas in like 4 out of the last 6 races. That is cause for concern for Yamaha as a factory.
